Preposition Practice Worksheets
Prepositions of Time AT - ON - IN Worksheet to practise the use of prepositions of time; at, on, in. Concept checking exercises, phrase and sentence completion.
We use prepositions before pronouns and nouns to show their relationship. In general, the 3 types of prepositions are location/place, time and movement.
- First, prepositions of place shows where an object is located.
- Second, prepositions of time describes when something occurs.
- Finally, prepositions of movement relates the direction between two things.
For example, the ball is on the chair. In this sentence, the word “on” is a preposition of place because it describes where the ball is.
If you want to practice these concepts, we have 5 preposition worksheets to help you get started. For all our worksheets, they are 100% free to use in a classroom or for educational purposes.

First, students speak for each prepositions of movement. Next, students have to write a complete sentence and draw objects if needed.
